In April 2008, the Early Childhood Education Program (approved December 3rd, 2007 ) was established.

On April 4th, 2024, the Shinshu Honan Educational Group was founded to carry on the school mission, educational philosophy, and management of the college.

Two years at a junior college — a precious experience supported by our new management system

Shinshu Honan College came under the management of the newly established Shinshu Honan Gakuen Educational Foundation as the result of an organizational reformation.

The founding spirit and educational philosophy of “Independence and Self-Reliance,” as well as the college name and school anthem, remain unchanged. By establishing a new educational foundation in the same location as Shinshu Hounan College, we aim to strengthen ties with the local community, respond more effectively to on-campus needs, and manage operations with more precision and attention to detail.

Although junior college lasts only two years, it marks a crucial and formative period in a student's life.
With the help of our new management system, we are committed to our ongoing support of students so that this precious time is rewarding, enriching, and fulfilling.

Finding joy in living and learning together with our students

After more than 30 years of teaching at Honan, my greatest source of joy and motivation have always been the wonderful students that I have had the pleasure of meeting. Students who:
1.Work diligently and sincerely.
2. Respect and cherish their family and friends.
3. Greet others with a warm smile.
Throughout every aspect of campus life, I am deeply grateful for the inspiration and encouragement I recieve from our wonderful students.
I strive to give back to them by offering support in teaching, career guidance, and club activities.
I also hope to continue living each day with sincerity, gentleness, and a smile.
For those who wish to learn and thrive in a community where people value, support, and uplift one another — I look forward to welcoming you to Shinshu Honan College.
